Our first ever project was the Hiab copper in southern Namibia.
1974 – 1985
100s of 1000s of regional soil samples for base metals right across Namibia leading to 1000s of meters of follow-up drilling.
1974 – 1994
Operating Namibia’s only independent lab for a 20-year period from the mid 70s.
1979 – 1986
Extensive programmes successfully completed on Namibia’s uranium fields – notably Trekkoppies, Langer Heinrich, Goanikontas and Valencia.
1979 – 1986
All the assay work for the Ruyst Kuil Uranium feasibility study undertaken by Esso Minerals in the Karoo region in South Africa.
1990s
Gold “BLEG” analysis for Shell/Aurora on the Kraaipan greenstone belt resulting in the Kalgold mine, now a Harmony Gold operation.
1990s
The Corridor Mineral Sands Project successfully concluded and sold forward to Western Mining.
1990s
Seven years of primary heavy minerals concentrating and diamond indicator analysis resulting in Canada’s hugely successful Ekati Diamond Mine owned by BHP.
2008
Copper analysis including Acid, Cyanide, Residual Solubility analysis for Khoemacau on their Botswana project continues.
2009 – 2014
Gold “BLEG” analysis for Pangea Goldfields in Tanzania led directly to the discovery of three mines now operated by Barrick Gold. These are Tulawaka, Golden Ridge and Buzwagi mines.
2012 – 2018
Heavy Mineral Sands (HMS) analysis for Zirco on the Namaqualand development.
2016 – 2021
Operating the mine laboratory for Elandsfontein on their Phosphate project in Langebaan/Hopefield.
2020
We continually work extensively on French based Eramet HMS projects in Cameroon, British based Mkango in Malawi and Australian based Tronox on the West coast of SA.
